It's hard to believe that our sweet girl, Ava, is already 2 months old. Time is flying by...before we know it she'll be graduating from high school! Ava changes so much every day and it is so fun to watch her learn new things.
I love her big smile!
Ava usually takes a tumble during our photo sessions
Her long legs are starting to fill out!
Look how big I am!
"Mom, are you finished yet?"
Ava rolled off the pillow and landed face first...didn't phase her one bit!
Look at how much you've grown in a month

You continue to bring so much happiness to our lives! We wake up every morning to your grunting and a big smile across your face. You are a very happy baby! You like to go with the flow whether we watch TV, have playtime on the floor, travel, lay on your boppy lounger, swing in your swing, or cuddle with your mommy and daddy, you are content! The only time you really fuss is when you are hungry. Once I figured out that you needed 5-6 ounces every 3-4 hours, instead of 4 ounces, all was well in your world again!
2 month check up:
Length: 23 inches- 74%
Weight: 12 pounds- 78%
Head circumference: 39.8 inches- 76%
You gained over 2 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. You are a growing girl! Dr. Shults says you look perfect. You took your 2 month immunizations like a champ. You cried for about 15 seconds and then you fell asleep in my arms! You didn't have any negative side effects from the shots other than being extra sleepy for aabout 24 hours.
Right before your shots

You are still a good eater, taking 5-6 ounces of formula every 3-4 hours. Most nights you sleep 6-7 hours. If we could just adjust the 4 a.m. wake up time, sleeping for both of us would be perfect! I do love your early morning feeding, just you and me! After you eat, I change your diaper, swaddle you back up, kiss your forhead then lay you back down! You never whine, just grunt and coo until you fall back asleep!

You have become so much more attentive over the last few weeks. You always want to sit up and see what is going on in the room. You tend to fight sleep when a lot is going on...like your mom, you don't want to miss a thing! Your smile makes my heart melt and you continue to amaze your daddy and me every day! We love you so much!
